Church Links

We have strong links with the church and have spent many years working closely with and being supported by Reverend Lynn Parker who has just retired.

We are now lucky enough to be working closely with Reverend Laura Bushell Hawke who is a Church of England Priest. She trained on a full-time three-year pathway at St Mellitus College, and was Ordained as a Deacon in 2020 and as a priest in 2021. Rev Laura will be supporting us by leading whole school worship once a month, through the different Christian festivals, with our RE lessons, school performances and all that encompasses our spiritual journey together.

We are also hoping to be able to share Chrissie Aindow who is linked to St Martin’s church, Liskeard. We are hoping that her role with us as a school chaplain will contribute to the spiritual and pastoral care of all members of our school community.
